Directed by Rob Cohen, Dragon traces the rise of martial-arts film star Bruce Lee to international stardom despite numerous obstacles.
The film is inspired, but not closely based on, The Bruce Lee Story by Lee's widow, Linda Lee. Her biography is told with personal insight and accompanied by hundreds of photographs from family albums.The film places Lee in San Francisco rather than his true home in Seattle and takes plenty of artistic license in telling his story.
